This 1500w inverter contains a remote control with which the percentage of the battery and the voltage can be controlled.     Option One: With a solar system

    If you want to install this inverter with a solar system, please connect the solar panel to the solar charger, then wire the solar charger with the battery bank. The inverter MUST be connected to the battery, not the solar charger. The inverter would work normally when the solar charger is charging the battery.

    Option Two: Without a solar system

    It will be much more simple if you just want to use the inverter with your battery bank. Please follow the installation guide in the manual or the installation video above. You can make it in 5 minutes!

    Remark: All inverters from EDECOA have built-in DC fuses, it is fine if you want to add an extra DC breaker between the battery bank and the inverter. Please choose a proper breaker that is a little bigger than the "MAX DC" in the technical sheet.

    • Q: Is this compatible with lithium batteries that charge to 14.6V?
    • The working DC input voltage of the 1500w 12v pure sine wave inverter is 10.5V~15V. When the DC input voltage is about 15.5V±0.3V, the inverter will shut down.
    • Q: Thinking of connecting item via Anderson lead connecter on the truck, does this need a fuse on the live wire?
    • I had mine with Anderson lead no fuse as there is one on bulkhead & inverter.
    • Q: Where do I ground the inverter to? If my batteries are grounded, do I even need to ground the inverter?
    • If using the power inverter at home, the ground terminal of the inverter should be connected to the ground stake. If using the power inverter on the caravan/automotive, the Ground terminal of the inverter could be connected to the battery’s negative terminal or the automotive house.     • Q: Would this boil a kettle?
    • This is a 1000w power inverter, and it can work with a kettle whose wattage is under 1000w.
    • Q: What is the warranty on this product?

    • Q: Where is the location of the fuse?
    • For the 1500W/2500W pure sine wave inverter, the fuse is built-in. It is required to open the inverter and then replace the fuses.
    • Q: Can the remote control be used to start the unit if the main switch is off?
    • Yes, the remote only works when the main switch is off.
    • Q: Do the fans turn off when there is no load? Is the fan noisy?
    • All EDECOA inverters have a smart fan design to save your battery power. There is a temperature sensor built in the power inverter. The fan will only start to work when the internal temperature is over 45°C/113℉. When it is over 75°C/167℉, the inverter will shut down due to overheating protection to protect the inverter. Absolutely not noisy; it is whisper quiet.
    • Q: What sort of current does it use? I need it to calculate the wire gauge
    • The maximum DC is 150A. The cable that comes with the inverter is 25mm2, and the length is 500mm(5 AWG/1.6 FT.).
    • Q: Does this inverter have internal breakers or fuses, or does it have to be connected to an ac breaker box to run loads?
    • The 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter has six built-in 30A fuses. If you want to add a breaker between the battery and the inverter, a 150a fuse for 1500 watts will be recommended.
    • Q: I would have this wired to my leisure battery. Would it then be possible to plug a leisure battery charger/maintainer into this to connect to the solar panel?
    • The answer is NO!! An inverter should always connect directly to a battery. If you connect it to the solar charger, both the solar charger and inverter may be damaged after a short time of working.
    • Q: Does each ac outlet have a power limit?
    • Only in the sense that the total wattage for all the outlets combined must not exceed 1500 Watts, and the outlet itself is designed to work within 16A, which means each outlet’s limitation is 4000 Watt.
