Fantastic device, very easy to install. I have fitted in my motorhome. we go wild camping so to have 240 volts in the middle of no where is amazing, and it keeps the wife happy, as long as she can dry her hair she’s happy..
The bonus is the remote control, you can have the device under out of the way, as long as in a vented area etc. still turn it on and off without touching the device. The remote control is very tidy looking able to fit in the motorhome without looking out of place.Must have

Excellent product and reliably delivers for high wattage products such as kettles
Have used this over the last month in my camper van mounted near my wheel arch inside. Seems to cope well with up to 1500w, haven’t gone higher yet. Simple and the remote is really great so you can hide the bulky unit. I’ve tried a few inverters now and most don’t deliver even half the wattage advertised, this copes well so far. I’ve had kettles on it for 30 minutes and an ice machine rigged up all day over several days and it’s worked a charm. The audible alarms for low battery are useful too.

Word of caution: I recommend at least 4AWG wiring if you are not connecting this directly to the battery, otherwise the heat will cause problems, I had to change my wiring due to this. Check a wire gauge calculator for 12v 2000w (170amp) over the distance you are using and put an appropriately sized breaker in there too to avoid resistance issues.

I know nothing about this technical stuff, that’s my husband’s department, all I can tell you is that it works. We have a narrowboat with two adults and four sons and everything can be charged up, my fridge stays on, it works my microwave and two televisions and there hasn’t been a problem yet. It’s nice to have peace of mind and no arguing who gets to charge their phone next!It works

Q: Is this compatible with lithium batteries that charge to 14.6V?
The working DC input voltage of the 2000w 24v modified wave inverter is 21V~31V. When the DC input voltage is about 31V±0.3V, the inverter will shut down.
Q: What is the maximum storage temperature? Also, can this inverter be operated whenever the vehicle is not on?
Storage Temperature: 20°C~60°C.The inverter can work whenever the battery can provide enough power. It is recommended to use when the vehicle is on, especially when you use some heavy-duty appliance, or the inverter may drain your battery quickly.
Q: Where do I ground the inverter to? If my batteries are grounded, do I even need to ground the inverter?
If using the power inverter at home, the ground terminal of the inverter should be connected to the ground stake. If using the power inverter on the caravan/automotive, the Ground terminal of the inverter could be connected to the battery’s negative terminal or the automotive house. This inverter contains no battery, so you can’t charge it with any AC outlet. It requires a 12v DC input to produce 240V AC to power household items.

Q: Does this have a battery protection logic, so you don’t completely drain your batteries?
The inverter has low input voltage protection. When the DC input voltage is less than 20.5V, the inverter will stop working.
Q: Can the remote control be used to start the unit if the main switch is off?
Yes, the remote only works when the main switch is off.
Q: Do the fans turn off when there is no load?
All EDECOA inverters have a smart fan design to save your battery power. There is a temperature sensor built in the power inverter. The fan will only start to work when the internal temperature is over 45°C/113℉. When it is over 75°C/167℉, the inverter will shut down due to overheating protection to protect the inverter.
Q: How long are the red and black power cables that come with the unit?
The cable that comes with the inverter is 10mm², and the length is 750mm(7 AWG/2.4 FT.).
Q: Does this inverter have internal breakers or fuses, or does it have to be connected to an ac breaker box to run loads?
The 2000 watt modified wave inverter has four built-in 30A fuses. If you want to add a breaker between the battery and the inverter, a breaker with no more than 250A will be recommended.
Q: Are the fans noisy when operating?? what is its no-load current draw?
The sound from fans will not exceed 60 decibels. Its no-load current is less than 0.7A.
Q: Does each ac outlet have a power limit?
Only in the sense that the total wattage for all the outlets combined must not exceed 2000 Watts, and the outlet itself is designed to work within 16A, which means each outlet’s limitation is 2000 Watts. So this model provides an extra output AC wiring terminal.
Q: Are the three outlets on separate circuits? Or all on one?
The three outlets are connected in parallel. They share 2000w continuous power.
